Tobianos are one of my personal favorites.
The red/white and flesh coloration always makes me look twice. The name
Tobiano is a common term in Paint Horses. The name suited them well
according to their color pattern, and I thought it sounded perfect ;)
An ideal Tobiano, as pictured above, is a
Red/White butterfly with a piebald (flesh colored) face. The tail may be
double tail or single tail, I enjoy both equally. I also find that an
added bonus in my Tobiano spawns that I am able to get magnificent red
marbles like the one pictured to the right.
Here is an example of a Single Tailed
version.
Here is one of our beautiful girls. We also have a beauty
that I don't have a photo of. She is ideal in every aspect of the
Tobianos, including the Butterfly pattern. The female pictured here is a
good candidate to breed for 'Tutweiler Butterflies' and I hope to have one
or more in recent spawns.
A breeding pair in action.
There is no argument that this amazing betta
coloration/pattern is one of the most desired. There are few betta
lovers I have spoken to that do not adore these bettas. No matter who
the breeder or what the name, these bettas are magnificent to watch.
Here are some other beauties from Tobiano
spawns. Enjoy :)
